We are excited to keep some momentum going in the offseason with monthly cultural gatherings and recreational paddles, the first of which will be held this weekend on Saturday, September 21.
Rec paddle will be held at 8:00 am sharp with Amanda May, followed by the culture gathering starting at 11:30 am with Kui. The topic will be “Channels of the Hawaiian Islands.” The goal will be to finish the art inside the hale, discuss the meaning behind Na Kai Ewalu’s name, and talk story about the cultural significance of the channels.
